THE SCARY TRUTH ABOUT GLENN BECK’S TRUE BELIEFS

Glenn “Big Love’ Beck, declared war on the teachings of  Jesus Christ and by extension all organized Christian religions around the world, including interestingly, his own religion; The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

On his show yesterday Glenn Beck went on what could only be described as an anti-Christian rant, decrying churches that following the teachings of the Bible, and begging people to abandon religion in the name of selfish greed.  It's true.  Listen to the rant!

Beck actually said;  "I'm begging you, your right to religion and freedom to exercise religion and read all of the passages of the Bible as you want to read them and as your church wants to preach them . . . are going to come under the ropes in the next year. If it lasts that long it will be the next year. I beg you, look for the words 'social justice' or 'economic justice' on your church Web site. If you find it, run as fast as you can. Social justice and economic justice, they are code words. Now, am I advising people to leave their church? Yes!"

Beck exhortation to his listeners to flee from any religious institution that promoted ‘Social Justice’ are putting him squarely at odds with the scriptures of the Book of Mormon.  Are you listening LDS followers?

The Book of Mormon teaches that “there should be an equality among all” (Mosiah 27:3.)  In fact, those scriptures also preach that all Mormons should “plead the cause of the poor and the needy” (D&C 124:75) as well as aspiring to a world where “there [are] no poor among [us]” (Moses 7:18)

Beck proposes that ‘Social and Economic Justice’ are somehow nefarious plots to defraud the wealthy.  He equates these basic religious tenets with Communism and Nazism, mocking what he called the philosophies of “economic justice, rights of the workers, redistribution of wealth, and surprisingly, democracy."

3 Nephi Chapter 24:5 contradicts Beck’s ravings by saying; the Lord with pass swift judgment  “against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger, and fear not me, saith the Lord of Hosts.”

“…oppress the hireling in his wages” is clearly an admonition to protect the RIGHTS OF WORKERS.

“..oppress….. the widow and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger” are clear commands to aid the elderly, orphaned and poor - or as conservatives like to call them, lazy, and shiftless welfare recipients.

These commandments, that Beck calls Communist and Nazi principles and therefore Anti-American and abhorrent, are in the words of the book of Mormon ‘inequities,’ and stand in direct opposition to God’s will.

The book of 2 Nephi, Chapter 26:33 states:  “For none of these iniquities come of the Lord; for he doeth that which is good among the children of men; and he doeth nothing save it be plain unto the children of men; and he invite them ball to come unto him and partake of his goodness; and he deny none that come unto him, black and white, bond and free, male and female; and he remember the heathen; and all are alike unto God, both Jew and Gentile”

Clearly Beck hates religion…including the one he professes to follow. We knew he hates the Catholic church, but  now he uses this type of hateful rhetoric toward the church he claims to attend, and the conservatives aren't calling him to the mat for it.

So.  The questions that must be asked are;  Why does Glen Beck hate God so much?, Is he truly an agent of the Devil? Is he just out to destroy religion as we all know it?  Or is he just HIGH, like his daddy Rush?

Either way, people of faith from either side of the political divide should question the morality of a man like this who actively denigrates the religious principles they try to live their lives by and Mormons should demand some answers from him.
